The practical rules for using the smartMI Services website and smartMI App.

1. Using the services
These terms govern your use of the smartMI Services website and smartMI App. By using the services, you agree to use them lawfully, responsibly and only for their intended purpose.
2. Eligibility and access
The smartMI App is intended for authorised smartMI policyholders and other approved users. You must provide accurate information when verifying access and must not attempt to access another person’s policy information.
3. Protecting your account
Keep your device, login details and verification codes secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or device has been compromised. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect you, other users or the service.
4. Policy information
The app is designed to provide convenient access to policy-related information. If information in the app appears incomplete or inconsistent with formal policy documents or communications, contact support for assistance and refer to the applicable policy documentation.
5. Payments and third-party services
Payment options may be provided through third-party payment services. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. A displayed payment submission does not replace confirmation by the relevant payment provider or policy administrator.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape information, impersonate another person or use the service in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, improve, suspend or change features where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal or operational reasons.
8. Intellectual property
The smartMI name, software, interface, content and related materials belong to smartMI Services or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
9. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, smartMI Services is not responsible for loss caused by unauthorised use, circumstances outside our reasonable control or reliance on information that you knew or reasonably should have known was inaccurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
